Loving Teachers

It’s not a small thing to entrust your child to somenoe else. We only hire teachers from trusted referrals so your little ones get the love and nurture they are used to at home.

Licensed & Accredited

Every Preschool in California is required to be licensed; Trinity has taken the additional step to be accredited by the NLSA to meet the highest standards in quality of care, education, and family partnership.

Childhood Development

Emphasizing a growth mindset, we teach children social skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution so they can form healthy relationships with their peers.

School Readiness

Considered “too academic” by some, the Trinity Interactive Learning Framework gives your preschooler the structure and academic foundation they need to thrive in Kindergarten.

Welcome to Trinity!

With God as our foundation, our preschool program is structured to cultivate a safe and loving environment where children are encouraged to explore the world around them through play and directed instruction.

I would love the opportunity to meet you and personally give you a tour of our beautiful campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need to be potty trained before entering preschool?
No! We welcome all children regardless of their current potty skills. We will even work with you and your child so they gain the potty skills and confidence they need!

*There is an additional fee for non-potty trained 3-year-olds.

How does Trinity handle discpline?
Children in the preschool age are learning to fit into the world around them. At times conflicts will naturally occur. The teachers of Trinity Lutheran Preschool will provide guidance for maturity in problem-solving. Our hope is for children to gain a deeper appreciation for education and help promote higher order thinking skills. Centered on Bloom’s Taxonomy of thinking, children are encouraged to question why something has happened and how might it be different if other choices were made beforehand. Children are guided to reflect on the incident and recognize responsibility for their actions.

Parents can expect the teachers to use the following techniques in guiding the children.

  • Setting Boundaries
  • Redirection
  • Modeling
  • Validating Feelings
  • Intervening
  • Assisting in Conflict Resolution
  • Cultivating Responsible Behavior

The following procedures will be used in conflict resolution:

Approach the children in conflict
a.     Neutrally approach the situation
b.     Become positioned at the children’s level

Determine feelings and emotions
a.     Allow each child to share their side
b.     Validate each child’s feelings

Define problem
a.     Allow each child to describe the conflict
b.     Guide toward resolution

Make a resolution
a.     Shake hands
b.     Repeat agreement

Individual issues will be resolved at the teacher’s discretion using the applicable techniques mentioned above.

Some needs include:

  • Spectrum Disorders (Autism, etc)
  • Diabetes
  • Cystic Fibrosis
Do your teachers have special training or certifications?

What about campus safety?
Trinity Preschool participates in regular fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills so kids are ready for any situation.

We require proper identification for compliance with secure check-in/check-out protocol.

At Trinity, we believe each child should be taught as the unique person God made them to be.

Don’t let your child get lost in the crowd.

Schedule a tour and prepare your kids to be the capable, confident influencers God created them to be.
